There are certain signs of aging that will show up as we move gracefully into our later years. And many of these signs of aging are going to show up on our skin and our face in particularly.

Let’s get to it.

Bags under the Eyes

Our first sign of aging is known as bags under the eyes. This is a common trait in many people that like to stay out late at night, so you do not necessarily have to begin aging in order to develop these bags under your eyes. Your personal lifestyle habits can also prematurely cause under eye baggage.

But that is just one way to develop bags under the eyes. For the regular folks that go to bed early and get a good night sleep, those suffering from bags under the eyes are typically going to have to deal with this problem because they are getting older.

This is a part of the aging process and it is 100% natural. We all will go through this at some point, because we work long hours, we have a difficult time sleeping, many of us do not get eight hours of sleep each night and many other reasons can cause under eye bags. Maybe you are going through a very stressful time in your life. Maybe somebody very close to you is sick. Whatever the reasoning, we often do not get nearly as much sleep as we would benefit from in order to eliminate under eye bags. But this is just one sign of aging that we all have to deal with.

There are many potential reasons why people might experience bags under the eyes. There are a number of issues that are directly related to this particular problem.

Some of those reasons include: sinus infections, colds, flu, seasonal allergies, salty diets, the position that you sleep and whether or not you cry a lot.

Whether you know it or not, bags under the eyes can actually be treated. If the reason you have bags under your eyes is because of allergies, then you need to start taking over-the-counter allergy medication. And if that doesn’t work, contact your doctor to find out if he or she can provide you with a prescription.

If you have bags under your eyes because you indulge in salty snacks, then you can easily get rid of them by stopping the salty snacking. It really is that simple. If you are addicted to salt, it might be harder for you than most, but if you really want to get rid of the bags under your eyes you’ll have to stop eating the salty snack foods.

Another interesting tidbit is that people who sleep on their stomach will also develop bags under their eyes. If that is you, then you need to change your sleeping position. Try sleeping on your side or sleeping on your back to see if it makes a difference.

Eye Wrinkles

Eyes wrinkles are another one of the unfortunate signs of aging. Truth be told, these wrinkles around our eyes often make us look a lot older that we actually are.
