This lightweight, rich serum was designed specifically for the delicate eye area. It contains the LCA Complex, a special combination of antioxidants and Lactic Acid to provide superior anti-aging benefits that are supposed to provide quick results, without drying out the skin. This product claims that in a matter of weeks, your wrinkles will disappear.
It is very important for consumers to follow the specific directions. Initially, use every other day until skin is acclimatized, once daily thereafter. This product should not be combined with Smooth Lines or Even Tones, but can be layered with a Moisturizing Facial Cream or Radical Defense.
Consumers did not care for this product. Most found that the product dried out their eyes, leaving a film, causing the eyes to appear dry and even more wrinkled. Under eye concealer application was a nightmare on top of this product, as the product flaked off. The directions are unclear as it does not disclose exactly how the skin becomes acclimated to this product. Acclimation could be confused with eye irritation or a reaction to the product.
This eye serum also says it has the highest antioxidant protection on the market today, which helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles, crow’s feet and even photodamage., but perhaps the concentration is just too intense for the delicate eye area, which is what causes the drying effect.
Consumers expect that an under eye cream would at least be able to moisturize their skin, but this product didn’t even do that. In fact, it seems to do the very opposite of everything it claims to do. We wouldn’t recommend that you try this product. Your outer eye tissue is subjected to enough environmental changes without adding a harsh under eye cream to the mix.
Reactions must b based on level of sensitivity. i have very sensitive, reactive skin and eczema and have tried many different eye creams but This works!! Both dark circles and wrinkles are greatly diminished. I have been using this cream for about 2 years and love it!!
WAY TOO MUCH INSTRUCTIONS – - I HAVE ZERO PATIENTS FOR THAT. I HAD TROUBLE WITH A FILM UNDER MY EYE TOO. VERY UPSET WITH THIS PRODUCT.
BUYER BEWARE! ANYONE WITH SENSITIVE EYES NEED NOT APPLY! LITERALLY! Not only am I sensitive skinned, but I am a contact lens wearer. Double no-no. This product flakes, dries out the skin, causes irritation and small bumps under the eyes.
Terrible product! I mis-read the directions and applied once daily right off the bat and ended up with dry, red, itchy eyes that were swollen and puffy. It took about 3 days for my eyes to return to normal. I tried again, this time following the directions exactly as labeled but still found that this product irritated my eyes. I’m thinking it’s an allergic reaction?
couldn’t agree more! discontinued the use after two weeks becuase I just couldn’t take the “side effects” anymore. Wasn’t worth it to me, there are too many other great products out there.
Thanks to the terrible reviews I have found here and everywhere else on the internet. i have decided not to buy. Can anyone recommend a product that DOES work?
ORDERED FROM DERMSTORE. FAST SHIPPING, DIDN’T EVEN HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE. THE FORMULA IS GOOD, HAS LOTS OF PEPTIDES, RETINOL, VIT E AMONG OTHER GOOD INGREDIENTS. NOTICE A DIFF AFTER JUST 2 WEEKS. PRICE ISN’T HORRIBLE, MORE EXPENSIVE THAN A LOT BUT CHEAPER THAN MOST.
I had a completely great experience! While I agree that you have to be very careful when using this product and follow the directions very carefully, this product helped tremendously with fine lines! Granted, I’m only 30 so my lines truly are fine, but I LOVE this product!
Purchased this eye serum after reading a raving review. It was nothing special and actually could not be worn under makeup as once it dried it iwould leave a film that would sort of peel off leaving splotchy spots where my eye makeup had been! Would not recommend.
