Neck Cream

Eye serum is a topic that dominates this site, but since the Elite Serum is sold in an Age Defying System along with a neck cream, we’ve had a chance to review it as well.

You may wonder to yourself, why would anyone need a neck cream?

The Neck area is an area of the skin that rarely gets treated properly.  How many times do you see people at the beach with great suntans on their faces but a rather deep burn on their neck?  It happens because the first thing people think about is their face.  The neck is an afterthought in most cases.

However, the skin on your neck ages just like the skin on your face.  It needs to be cared for properly, or you could end up with sagging skin or what people call “turkey neck.”  A few companies have recently brought to market specific neck creams that treat these defects and work to tighten the neck area.

For this very reason, some of the leading companies have taken the reigns and formulated a tightening agent that is applied to the upper chest and neck area, commonly called the decollete, to treat sagging skin and neck wrinkles.  The end product is simply called a  a neck cream.  Although EliteSkin has taken this approach to a whole new level and refers to this area as the “V zone.”  For this reason, their neck cream is appropriately called “V-Covery.”  Pretty clever stuff….

Elite V-Covery is one of three anti aging creams offered in the Age Defying System by EliteSkin.  It uses the same scientific approach it used with the Elite Serum when it formulated this product, and this could be a reason it’s seeing similar positive reviews.  The V-Covery (which refers to the “v-zone” under the neck and across the upper chest) is made with the same Matrixyl 3000 that is featured in other EliteSkin products, along with LipoCare and Essenskin.  A study showed that a cream using 2.5% Essenskin caused a significant and visible improvement of the skin density (+68%), firmness and elasticity for 80% of the subjects.  Reports also showed the skin was shown to be more resistant (+21%) and smoother.

Lipocare contains a patented blend of clinically tested ingredients that synergistically accelerate lipid release from fatty storage around the neck area.  Those are two very powerful ingredients, and combined with Matrixyl 3000 (click the link in case you haven’t read about it yet – we go into great detail about this ingredient) this is by far the most advanced neck cream we’ve reviewed.

Another neck cream we thought was interesting was the Neck Restoration Cream by Dermajuv.  Since their Eye Revolution Gel has been mentioned in the same sentence as the Elite products on occasion, we figured it was worth a mention.

The only drawback with the Dermajuv brand is that they haven’t yet upgraded to the newer, more results-oriented Matrixyl 3000, but I’m sure it’s something to do with the way it bonds with the other ingredients or something with the formula, or they certainly would have upgraded by now.  What makes this product stand out is the use of fruit stem cells.  Sure, it’s fruit, but stem cells certainly are innovative and we can’t ignore the use of it.  Fruit at least has antioxidant value.

The Dermajuv neck cream has received solid reviews on neck cream review websites, so it’s worth taking a peek at it.  If you are serious about your skin care regimen, a neck cream is something you can’t afford to be without.  You don’t want to walk around the pool in your bathing suit, looking great, feeling good about yourself, only to have someone point out your turkey neck.
