EyeSerum.com Review by Sarah Boehman

We found out about this eye cream after being intrigued with the approach this company took by adding Rye Oil, which the company maintains “boosts the natural defense of skin cells and the synthesis of a number of proteins that promote cohesion of dermis and epidermis.” We liked the fact that this night cream didn’t make our testers have that oily feeling on their skin.

While most of our testers maintained it was a great eye cream as far as moisturizing goes, it did very little to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. While we are very happy to recommend this product for its moisturizing abilities, there are too many superior products that work well as an eye serum so we do not recommend using this for anyone who is trying to eliminate fines lines or wrinkles.  The Korres Olive & Rye Eye cream review was done with careful consideration as to what people were saying on Amazon.com, so if you are looking for information on whether you should purchase this eye cream with olive & rye, continue reading.

Positives about Korres Olive & Rye Eye Cream

1.  Only a Small Amount is Needed. Always nice to apply a small amount instead of a large amount.

2.  Has Hydrating Qualities. Our testers were impressed with the moisture it seemed to add.

Negatives about Korres Olive & Rye Eye Cream

1.  The Squeeze Tube Makes it Hard to Apply Same Amount Each Time. Tubes make it nearly impossible to apply any eye cream in the same manner each time.  Pump bottles are much easier to apply evenly.

2.  Testers Complained it was Too Thick. It is never fun rubbing in a cream that is too thick – which is why consumers agree eye serums – not creams – are the way to go about correcting the various signs of aging.

Thanks for reading the review of Korres Olive & Rye eye cream, and best of luck in your search for the best anti aging eye serum.

I used this product in the past. Didn’t get much of an effect after following the directions to a ‘t.’

I love the fact that this product has Q10 in it! My fav eye cream by far!

  3. Esther

This product worked fine for me once I figured out how to apply an even portion from the squeeze tube.

  4. MAXANNE

THIS PRODUCT IS VERY THICK. I ONLY USE IT AT NIGHT BECAUSE IT TOOK TO LONG FOR ABSORBING BUT IT HYDRATES SKIN

i used this product for a few weeks and didn’t see any results… the price was a bit high too for not doing anything significant… i’ve since found other products that work better for less money.

I really like that it doesn’t have chemical preservatives or animal by products, which is awesome, but it’s just an okay eye cream. I didn’t notice much difference in my overall appearance or reduction of dark circles and lines but I did feel nice and hydrated.

  7. Gaby Urrutia

Not really an effective product. I had a hard time using the tube to get the cream out.

In my experience Natural products are just too gentle. I am looking for more of a dramatic change. What can you recommend for that?

This is one of those obscure products that is hit or miss. Not a super popular brand, doesn’t really contain any anti aging ingredients. It’s your typical moisutrizer, nothing more.

Did nothing for my dark circles, will stick with elite despite high price tag. Get what you pay for.

I prefer pumps over tubes. I have a really hard time dispensing a consisntent amount of cream. I either pump too much or not enough. very frustrating. i do like the cream though.

  12. Just so-so

After trying & loving Korres Honey Mask I wanted to try other Korres products. I decided to try out this product. I was really excited about this cream based on its description on Sephora. After applying, a few hours later I had some breakouts so I washed my face & within a few minutes I had dry, itchy, flaky skin!

Not a fan of all natural products. They are just too gentle and don’t seem too work real well. I have dark circles and puffiness and this product didn’t help whatsoever. I do like the squeeze tube though. You don’t end up with wasted product like you do with the pump dispenser kind.

Not sure why everyone keeps calling this product ‘expensive.’ It’s not more expensive than Clinique’s All About Eyes. The product itself is alright,, nothing to get excited about. I had issues with an over excited tube that just kept squeezing out too. The only way to stop that seems to be to just let the product come out onto your finger instead of squeezing the tube.

reall y weird that the instructions say not to apply to the upper eyelids. Usually an eye cream can be used on the entire eye area, upper and lower. I 42 and I have used literally dozens of products over the course of the last 20 years. This product was recommended to me by the sales gal at Sephora on a recent shopping trip. I’ve used it religiously for a little over a month now and I am disappointed to report that I have not seen any changes in the area around my eyes whatsoever.

Bought on Amazon for $11.50. I have been looking for a product that will reduce wrinkles and puffiness for awhile. This really isn’t it, although it does soften my skin. Has no peptides, so won’t really do much…

  17. Oklahoma City

Really unimpressed with this eye product. It’s far thicker than I expected. And I don’t like that it can only be used under the eyes, not on the eyelids.because I need some help with tightening …when I did try it on my eyelids, I woke up with puffy eyelids…

it is good for dark circcles but not for fine lines. I am trying the new shisedo eye n lip cream one! Much better so far but pricey

  19. angel eyes

I bought this product and its going back. It didn`t do a thing for my dark circles. It`s expensive it cost me $36.99 without tax. Don’t pay it!

  20. hottietottie

Way too thick of a cream. In order to get it to completely soak in, I really had to work at it, rubbing it into the area underneath my eye. Any of us that have studied wrinkles and what causes them know that rubbing your skin hard or pulling at it actually causes wrinkles!

this may b a great winter product, but i wouldnt recommend to anybody in a warm climate or for summertime. thick, greasy and took awhile to sink into my skin. products are all natural and in my opinon natural products dont work as well.

  22. Naturale Mama

I recently opted for an all natural appraoch to life. All natural, no processed foods, gluten free, whey free, paraben free, etc. So all natural products like these really appeal to me. I don’t like products with fillers and garbage in them. So far though, I am not noticing much improvment in the overall look or feel of my skin.
