Eye Puffiness

Eye puffiness happens to the best of us.  But why do our eyes get puffy?  In the morning, it’s pretty easy to recall what the prior days activities were and find out what caused the puffiness.  There are several factors that could be contributing to the puffy eyes.  It’s possible you drank fluids before bed, consumed sodium-rich foods, or stayed up late the night before.  In most cases of eye puffiness, the swelling goes down within a few hours after waking.

In bizarre cases, it is possible your eye puffiness is due to an allergic reaction.

However, if you are reading this website and in search of the best eye cream for your face, chances are you are experiencing eye puffiness due to aging.  It’s a known fact that the skin around the eyes thins and becomes less elastic with age.   What happens is the fat underneath the skin bulges out at a level that was undetectable before because your skin was plumper and younger.

Eye puffiness can be treated and kept at bay with regular applications of an eye serum. See our eye serum reviews to find the best eye serum for your condition.
