This brightening eye serum claims to work to diminish the look of tired, puffy, and hollow eyes. Lumispher microencapsulated pigments are said to instantly improve luminosity and brightness, helping to fade dark circles and break down abnormal fatty deposits that cause undereye bags. Other ingredients boost collagen levels, stimulate microcirculation, strengthen thin, fragile skin, and keep the eye area hydrated and healthy looking. This product glides on with the cold ball applicator, which claims to provide instant brightening and concealing effects. This specialty serum is supposed to instantaneously brighten your look and increase collagen levels. As well it is said to better circulation and this will help reduce dark shadows, fine lines and wrinkles and puffy fatigued eyes.
This product is applied by first gently pressing to dispense a small amount of product. Then gently sliding the cold ball over bone area of eyes, lightly patting any excess with fingertip until completely absorbed. While the cold ball technology is light years ahead of its competitors, its poor execution leaves the product bringing up the rear. Many reported issues with the ball, reporting that it didn’t roll smoothly across the skin, but instead pulled and tugged and the amount of product dispensed was inconsistent. Further, Dr. Brandt recommends following this product with a moisturizer. Most users expect that an eye serum would contain a moisturizer.
Many reported after a few weeks of use that their fine lines were less noticeable and the dark circles had diminished. As long as the roller ball cooperates you may have decent success with this product.
Purchased from Sephora and after buying some makeup, asked about eye creams. I was shown Dr. Brandt’s eye cream and the salesperson gave me a little to try. I couldn’t believe that within a few minutes the puffiness around my eyes was gone.
GREAT PRODUCT FOR DARK CIRCLES AND PUFFINESS. THE DARK CIRCLES FADE OVER TIME BUT THE COOL SERUM WILL MAKE YOUR EYES INSTANTLY FEEL REFRESHED AND IT DOES A GOOD JOB OF REDUCING PUFFINESS PRETTY MUCH ON CONTACT. ONLY DOWNFALL IS THAT I HAVE TO USE A SEPARETE PRODUCT FOR LINES AND WRINKLES. IT’D BE GREAT IF IT WAS AN ALL IN ONE FORMULA.
Garnier offers a similar product that works much better, the ball doesn’t stick and it’s half the price.
First off the roller ball on this is a joke, it doesn’t glide over the under eye it yanks the skin. The serum itself isn’t a bad eye serum, but for the price and lack of brightening I doubt I’ll ever buy this again.
This product works o.k., but it’s not an all in one. If your issue is dark circles and puffiness, this is a good one to try but if you have any fine lines this product prbly will not work.

Tried the Sudden Change on a whim while walking through Rite Aid looking for new nail polish….lol…..that didn’t work at all for me so a friend recommended this product. I’ve never really been one to spend a lot on products, but decided to try it. What a bummer. this product flaked under my eyes! Did anyone else have that issue? I patted it on gently, maybe I am using too much, but it was really weird. It was like my top layer of skin started to peel off. It didn’t hurt but it was pretty gross.
Love the rollerball, when it works. This one sticks all the time, which results in wasted product. it conceals, which is great, but i don’t think their are any real long term results.
I have learn some good stuff here. I will revisit and post my comment once I try some of the products. Dr. Brandt has been good to me in the past, but never I try the new serum. I will buy at the mall later.
I like this product. within mins of appLing, I can feel the puffiness is gone and my eyes are brighter. I got to school and waitress so i don’t get enough sleep and always have tired eyes. I tried the Garnier one before and it didn’t help like this one does.
