EyeSerum.com Review by Sarah Boehman

OleHenricksen Eye Cream is formulated with Omega 3 extracts, designed to nourish and hydrate to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  It also contains a micro algae and ti-peptide 5, which strengthen and firm the fragile tissue around the eyes and SPF 15, to protect against sun damage.

This eye cream seems to come in with mixed reviews.  The cream is very rich and goes on very thick, which some consumers like, others feel it’s far too heavy for use in the morning under makeup.  Some felt that the consistency was just too thick.

This product can be used twice daily, although based on the thickness some users reported that they wouldn’t use in the morning,

There are several Benefits to using this product.  It is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Synthetic Fragrances
– Synthetic Dyes
– Petrochemicals
– Phthalates

The product certainly moisturizes and many consumers reported that it did help to reduce the fine lines and wrinkles and dark circles.  The price point is very reasonable, and averages between $35 and $45.  This is the type of product that won’t break the bank if in fact it doesn’t provide results for you.  It is a great moisturizer and sunscreen if nothing else.

This eye creme is a HIT! You get hydration, anti-aging, and best of all, built in sun protection. Eye creams with sunscreen can be hard to come by. This one works amazing under concealer and glides right into my skin. Use Truth is in the Eyes under it for an “I slept 8 hours look”!

this eye cream is jam packed omega 3 and peptides, bonus I happen to like that it’s rich in texture and it has certainly brightened up my dark circles.

Soft and easy on the eyes. This product does somewhat reduce the appearance of wrinkles under the eyes as long as its used exactly as the directions . I haven’t found a huge difference since using it really but will stick to it since this line is so easy to use – price is certainly reasonable compared to many other products on the market

  5. sticky and gross

this product is the very reason i have always stayed away from gels. super sticky doesnt absorb or sink into the skin and cannot apply makeup because it smears everywhere. would never buy again.

Love the fact that this product has a built in SPF 15! This way I don’t have to use a separate sunscreen for my eye area! Gentle product, which is perfect for my sensitive skin, but that also means that the results are not immediate. Overall very happy with this product!

This is a good nighttime product. It’s has a very thick consistency. One of the thickest creams I’ve ever used. Applying it at night allows the skin to absorb the product and let it go to work while you sleep. I use a serum in the morning, mostly because they are lighter and it’s easier to apply makeup.

Good moisturizer, but didn’t do much to correct the issues around my eyes. I feel like a cheap drugstore Vitamin E moisutizer with SPF would serve the same purpose. Disappointed over all. At a price point of $40, I certainly didn’t break the bank, but it’s too expensive to just toss in the trash.

This eye cream is pretty good. It does seem to somewhat lighten dark cirlcles and brighten the eye area. It is Rich, thich, smooth texture. Feels great, no eye watering or discomfort at all. When I pair this with the Truth Revealed super creme, I fee like l my entire face is brighter, looks more even, glows, and is fully protected.

The texture is nice and lightweight and smooth and it does make the skin feel moisturized. However, I got it too close to my eye and it it really stings! Not a good thing for an eye cream to sting. It is a great value and a nice product as long as you are very careful to keep it out of your eyes.

Built in SPF is an added bonus as a lot of the creams on the market do not have any SPF so you have to buy an additional sunscreen just for the eye area. It is a thick cream though, not lite like a serum.

I’m 32 years old and have been using under eye creams for several years now to prevent wrinkles..and treat the few I have.. and it’s worked. I’ve tried sevaral brands and am very happy with Ole H. It keeps my under eye area very hydrated and is the perfect primer for my concealer.

Too thick and creamy for my liking. It seemed to take a long time to absorb on my skin and my concealer just smeared off. I had to switch to using at night only so I won’t be purchasing again. I need a product I can use day and night

Ole Henricksen makes a lot of eye products and it is very confusing as to which one you should purchase. It seems that they don’t treat all of the common eye issues with one cream, but with multiple. I tried this product and I didn’t feel that it did much for me besides moisturize, but even then, I didn’t like the consistency.

My fav winter skin care product! I only use it in the winter due to its thickness but nothing hydrates my dry winter skin like Ole Henriksen does. I apply it at night and use a product called Elite Serum (also featured on this blog!) in the am. The combination of the two works for my skin type really well.

but my eyes kept watering &stinging even though I made sure not to put this too close to them. Its too bad. I’m using retin a which makes me sensitive to sunlight so I really wanted a sunscreen in my eye cream. ÷ just can’t handle it though :(

  17. Not too shabby

I am new to the Ole Henriksen line of products, this is the 1st product I have tried. So far I like it. I have dry skin so the thick cream felt good on my skin and since I am not oily to0 begin with, this cream didn’t cause any oil issues for me. I haven’t been using it long enough to notice a difference yet in my under eye circles but I am happy to continue using.

Purchased this product from Sephora on a whim and so far so good! This product is forumlated without fragrances or dyes, something that is very important to me. Been using for about 3 weeks now and starting to see results.

The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends this product as an effective UV sunscreen. To my knowledge this is one of or the only SPF eye cream recommended by the Skin Cancer foundation. This is important to me as skin cancer runs in my family putting me at a higher risk.

This product has a thick, creamy texture, yet it’s easy to smooth on and absorbs quickly. Works with sensitive eyes – no stinging, burning, or itching. A lot of people prefer a pump because it’s less messy, but sometimes pumps don’t get all the product out, but I just make sure my hands are clean when I use the cream. I’ve noticed a visible reduction in my minor crows feet after using this for 1 1/2 wks.
