Elite Skin introduced this product in 2009 with a lot of success. It re-vamped the product in late 2011 and really started taking things to an entirely different level. Just look at the applicator syringe below!
A never-seen before combination of cosmeceuticals and powerhouse antioxidants promised to reduce visibility of eye wrinkles, treat dark circles, and deflate puffiness. All of this plus a plumping effect for the naturally depleting skin under the eyes and a promise of a source of moisture led us to believe this was too good to be true.
We remember being approached by the maker’s and having to look them up as we had never heard of Elite Serum. Since doing so, we’ve found Skin Pro to be a reputable brand with a good BBB rating and sound customer service. They are a boutique skin care brand located in South Florida (like most other skin care brands today) that only uses high-end, laboratory quality ingredients. You won’t find any standard ingredients in their formulas, and they have been written up in journals like the Rose Sheet, Miami Living, and even been chronicled by Plastic Surgery Plastic magazine as a potential alternative product to surgical cosmetic procedures.
Elite Eye Serum glides on to the skin under and around the eyes and is said to work on contact with it’s moisturizing properties. Made in the USA by Skin Pro, a “pioneer in skin care” according to Miami Living Magazine, this eye serum works on puffiness, eye bags, dark circles, and most importantly (and perhaps most effectively, according to our reviewers) – Eye Wrinkles!
We first heard rumblings of this product while perusing wrinkle cream reviews. Turns out, the same concept of using the latest copper peptides such as Matrixyl 3000 are used in all of the products made by this company.
The scientific advances displayed in this formula have separated this eye serum from the pack. The ultra-exclusive ingredients include haloxyl, argireline, Matrixyl 3000, and eyeliss. You can find clinical studies behind each of these ingredients, which are imported from French cosmetic company Sederma. Directions state to use the eye serum twice per day under each eye. After 30 days of testing, the eye serum worked great to reduce the appearance of eye wrinkles, which are common, yet hard-to treat symptom that comes with aging. 1. Made in USA. Always a plus if you have concerns about irritation. I suggest you read the page: “Choosing an Eye Cream” as applying any eye product below the eye is something you want to do with caution. What this means as an eye product consumer is that the facility staff where Elite Serum is made are all trained on GMPs, SOPs and all FDA rules and regulations. USA manufacturers of cosmetics are also subject to random inspection from the United States Food and Drug Administration, the State Health Department and the Department of Agriculture. Upon looking up the informational records of this facility, we found it to be in perfect standing with all governing boards.
2. Science-Inspired Ingredients. Over the years, there have been many “gimmicks” in skin care. “Organic, herbal,” and other types of products don’t hold a candle to scientifically-advanced ingredients that go in this eye serum. The serum contains cosmeceutical ingredients such as Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 (Haloxyl®), and Sodium Hyaluronic Acid. But that’s far from the tip of the iceberg in ingredients that the Elite Serum contains.
Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), works to keep the skin to retain it’s hydration. With this, eye wrinkles appear reduced through a slight “plumping effect” that promotes younger-looking skin. So, it’s important to add hyaluronic acid to the skin. It penetrates the dermis, combines with water, and promotes micro circulation and nutrient absorption. It forms an air permeable layer, to keep the skin moist and smooth. The result is a rapid skin rejuvenation, diminishing the appearance of wrinkles, crows feet and other cosmetic signs of age around the eyes caused by sun exposure, smoking, stress, and other common factors.
Out of all the ingredients in the formula, hyaluronic acid is the one that provides an instant effect.
Argireline® is the brand name for Acetyl Hexapeptide-3. It is known to be the best needle-free alternative to botox, and has been shown to reduce wrinkle depth, especially around the forehead and eyes. This was proven in a study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science in 2002. In this report, it was demonstrated that a cream containing 10% acetyl hexapeptide-3 used by healthy women volunteers reduced wrinkle depth up to 30 percent after 30 days of treatment.
In another study by Centerchem, an open label-trial of 5% Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 cream applied twice daily on 10 women demonstrated a 27% improvement in periorbital rhytids after 30 days as measured by silicone replica analysis. Theoretically, this peptide may mimic the effects of botulinum toxin injections.
In only 15 days, 10 healthy women subjects received a wrinkle reduction of 17% while using a Argireline® based cream.
Eyeliss®, is a valuable ingredient that is used in the serum to deflate the puffiness and bags associated with the eye area. It works in tandem with the other ingredients to make this an over the top eye serum. Eyeliss works to smooth out the skin and it’s won prestigious awards in Europe.
Haloxyl® (Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7) reduces puffiness and dark circles around the eyes and further adds to the firmness of the skin. This powerful peptide does this byencouraging proper circulation in that area. Essentially, it counteracts the fluid build-up that occurs naturally when you sleep. Eyelid swelling is a common cause of puffiness and dark circles. When you lie down,gravity causes fluid to accumulate in your lower eyelides. Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 counteracts this effect in addition to making the skin soft and smooth.
According to the Elite Serum website: Clinical Studies show 22 volunteers applied Haloxyl at 2% for 8 weeks, and received a 19% reduction in the dark circles.
Gaba, a relatively new topical skin care supplement, is called often by experts as the body’s natural tranquilizer. Gaba works fast to penetrate the sensitive skin around the eyes by relaxing the muscles. This has the effect of creating less skin tension in order to instantly reduce wrinkling. The instant anti-wrinkle effect of the GABA application makes it a very desirable addition to any eye cream.
Elite Serum also contains super antioxidants like red and green seaweed extracts.
Most quality eye cream products only offer one or two recognizable ingredients, but this eye cream is the grand daddy of eye creams as far as an all-star list of ingredients, and perhaps that’s why it worked so well on our testing team.

Having numerous non-stop fights with wrinkles, and always loosing, I think I have finally won
I used to have little puffy clumps before, but now I am so happy how the skin underneath my eyes has smoothed out evenly. It was so dramatic before and I needed to give elite serum some time before I really started noticing a difference. It has been 3 weeks and I have definitely seen a turn around. I guess it works like loosing weight.. It is hard to notice the loss of a few pounds here or there, but all a sudden 10 or 15 pounds can become very noticeable! I have puffy lumps under my eyes and lots of wrinkles. Every morning I wake up, the puffiness is worse but gets better again mid way through the day. A friend suggested that I try out this serum that she has been using.
I am now using Elite Serum and applying it once every evening before I go to bed.
I also apply a drop with my fingertip each morning after I wake up . I believe this has helped to keep the extra swelling I used to wake up with every morning, down to a minimum. I no longer have to wait half a day before my face clears from the over night swelling.

Unbelievable results was all that I saw from the Elite Serum. You really only need a tiny amount on the fingertip to see results. The serum went on smooth and dried fast.
